Used in the practice of Nadi-shodhana. In this case, the index and middle fingers are located above the bridge of the nose, and the thumb at the right nostril, and the ring and little finger — at the left (for the right hand) (with them alternately clamped nostrils). When used in Nadi-shodhana, pranayama is usually performed by the right hand.
